Mrs. Booth was born and raised in Caldwell, Kansas, a Cherokee Strip town located two miles north of the Oklahoma border. Lawrence and Claflin were her homes for twelve years after she graduated from Caldwell High School. She began her 22^nd year at Sterling Grade School this year and is currently employed as a library clerk.

Mrs. Booth enjoys traveling with her husband, Bob,

a retired radio broadcaster. He currently is a city commissioner, and substitute teacher. Community involvement has included Main Street Sterling and the Sterling/Alden Coalition of Children and Families. She currently is on the board of trustees at the Sterling Free Public Library.

The Booths travel the USA visiting their children, all graduates of Sterling High School.

Micheal graduated from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, CA. Marsha and Sarah are third generation graduates of the University of Kansas.

Favorite hobbies of Mrs. Booth include reading, gardening, photography,

bird watching, baking, sewing, and sports. She enjoys KU basketball and football, Wichita Thunder Hockey and the KC Chiefs. Two aquariums of fish and Nala the cat are also a part of the Booth family.

Mrs. Booth also monitors the SGS weather lab in the library.
