I
graduated from Sterling College in the spring of 1997 and spent my
first year after college as a full-time aide in the first grade classroom at
Sterling Grade School. I have been lucky enough to continue my career at SGS - in fourth grade! I actually teach in the same room I had fourth grade in many years ago!!
I continued my education by getting my Master's Degree in Teaching from
Friends University in May of 2003.
My hobbies include watching sports, walking, playing with my children, and watching more
sports! Family is very important to me, and I spend as much time as I can being a wife, a mom, a sister (and friend!), a daughter, and a granddaughter. Life is too short not to enjoy it all!
My husband Jason is currently a Physical Education teacher, Athletic Director, and Head High School girls' basketball coach at Chase High School. That keeps us all busy!
My three children are my pride and joy - and definitely make life interesting. Lucas is a first grader this year - loves school, football, and the Play Station! Kali is 3 - and very much a true little girl. She loves her dolls and her playhouse. Needless to say, she keeps Mom very busy, Isaac joined our family in May and is growing like a weed. Big brother and big sister are quite the helpers.
Teaching is a passion - and one I take pride in. My students become my family . . . I love each and every one of them!
