I graduated from Sterling College in the spring of 1997 and spent my first year after college as a full time aide in the first grade classroom at Sterling Grade School. I have been lucky enough to continue my career at SGS - in fourth grade (14 years now!) Last year started a new journey for the community of Sterling as our new grade school was built. What an amazing building!!

I continued my education by getting my Master's in Teaching from Friends University in May of 2003.

My hobbies include sports, walking, playing with my children, and watching more sports! Family is very important to me, and I spend as much time as I can being a wife, a mom, a sister (and friend), a daughter, and a granddaughter. Life is too short not to enjoy it all!

My husband Jason is currently a Physicall Education teacher, Athletic Director, and coach at Chase High School and Jr. High. That keeps us all busy!

My three shildren are my pride and joy - and definitely make life interesting. I have the unique privilege of bringing them all with me to work this year! Lucas is a 6th grader - loves school, football, and his friends! Kali turned 8 in late summer and is a 2nd grader at SGS. She is learning to love school and remains a true social butterfly. She does gymnastics and takes piano lessons. Isaac is 5 - full of busy, and very much a boy!! And kindergarten is extra busy because of him. He LOVES life and everything about it!!

Teaching is a passion - and one I take pride in. My students become my family ... I love each and every one of them!
