I probably don't need to introduce myself, but I will do it anyway. I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Kansas State University. I earned my Master's Degree in Early Literacy and Reading through Walden University and am very excited to use the knowledge I gained in those courses with your children.

I got my first job in November of 1990 teaching 26 Kindergartners at Avenue A Elementary School in Hutchinson. I taught there for 7 years. I then took a job here in Sterling as a 1/2 time kdg.teacher, a position that I held for 4 years, after which I accepted a job as the first grade teacher. And here I am! I am married and have two boys; Heath and Hunter. I am looking forward to having your child in class this year!
