Sterling Grade School Principal Brennan Riffel is in his sixth year of administration at Sterling Schools, having served the first two years as Sterling Junior High School Principal and Activities Director. Prior to coming to Sterling he was Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Belle Plaine High School. Before becoming a principal, Mr. Riffel taught in Liberal and Plains, Kansas. In addition, Mr. Riffel also serves as an assistant football coach for Sterling Junior High School. During the summer he teaches driver's education for Sterling High School. Mr. Riffel earned his BA in History/Government from Sterling College and his Masters of Educational Administration degree from West Texas A&M University. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, along with fishing and hunting. Mr. Riffel's wife, Christy, teaches science at Sterling Junior High and is an Aquatics Instructor at Sterling College. She is also a Sterling College graduate, earning her BS in Biology. |
