Welcome to the 2008-2009 school year! We have had a great start to our year and I am thrilled to be working with such wonderful students. This is my 13th year of teaching. I spent my first 5 years teaching K-3 Special Education and the past 8 years as a first grade teacher. I absolutely love teaching kids this age and am continually amazed at what they learn each year.

A little bit about me: I graduated from Sterling High School, attended Kansas State University for two years, and graduated from Sterling College. In 2005, I completed my Master's Degree in Education, with emphasis on early reading and literacy.

I am married to Clark, who farms, ranches, and loves to play golf. We are busy with three awesome children, Debi, Wyatt, and Waylon - the lights of our lives. In my spare time, I like to read, exercise, and work on photo albums.
