In the spring of 1997, I graduated from Sterling College with an Elementary Education degree and became an aide in 1st and 2nd grade for the following two years at Sterling Grade School. God opened many doors and I was able to begin teaching 2nd grade (which is my very favorite) in the fall of 1999. I continued my education and earned my Master of Science in Education with a specialization in Elementary Reading and Literacy from Walden University in December of 2006. Family is extremely important to me and I love to spend as much time with them as possible. God has blessed us with the most wonderful and precious family ever. My oldest daughter, Ashley, lives in Haysville with her husband, Tony, and son, Noah. Noah is our pride and joy and provides many hours of entertainment for my husband and me. Ashley is currently employed with the United States Postal Service. My son, Dallas, recently married Audrey, and lives in Brewster where he is a location accountant with Frontier-Ag. My youngest, Aspen, is attending Sterling College, majoring in elementary education and hopes to become a special education teacher. In my free time, I love to walk, bicycle, camp, and FISH!! My husband and I fish walleye tournaments during the summer and thoroughly enjoy it! I love teaching kids and helping them to succeed because I believe ALL kids are special and important! |
