Mrs. Vogt


Mrs. Vogt has been with Sterling Grade School since 1991.  She spent 2 years in the Title I department before moving into 4th Grade.  2004-2005 brought a new challenge to her as she moved to 2nd Grade.  She is a graduate of Sterling College with degrees in Speech & Theatre as well as receiving her certification in Elementary Education through SC.  She received her Masters in Teaching from Friends University in 1998.  Her hobbies include reading, movies, reading, & more reading.  Mrs. Vogt is very involved in her church where she has taught Sunday School, provided Children's Time, assisted with Vacation Bible School, & sung in choir for many years now.


Husband, Mike Vogt, is also employed by the school district.  He can be seen carrying out his custodial duties at both Sterling Junior & Senior High Schools.  Keeping up with Erik, 11, and Hannah, 9, is a full-time job in itself for Georgia & Mike.  Erik is enjoying skateboarding and guitar lessons. Sister Hannah likes playing with her friends, & is learning the piano.
