Parent and Staff Assistance


The counselor provides a variety of services directed at assisting parents and the teaching staff in their efforts to meet the individual needs of students.  These may include:
  • Participation in Teachers Assisting Teachers Team in efforts toward early identification and intervention in learning, developmental and behavior problems.
  • Consulting with staff regarding concerns about individual students.
  • Consulting with parents regrading concerns about their children.
  • The Parent Assitance Library, located in the Grade School Counselor's Office offers books, pamphlets and tapes from many of the leading ezperts in the field of child development.
  • Referrals to private and public service providers.
