Tyson Bauerle

Mr. Bauerle

Hi!  My name is Tyson Bauerle and I teach junior high and high school social science classes.  I teach 7th grade Civics/Kansas History, 8th grade US History, a junior high elective course called Historical Thinking, and World History for sophomores.  This is my fifth year teaching here in Sterling.  In addition to teaching, I am the head softball coach, the strength and conditioning coordinator, and an assistant boys basketball coach.

I graduated co-valedictorian from Nickerson High School in 2003 and from Tabor College in 2007 with honors.  I played baseball during my time at Tabor College. I recently finished my Master’s Degree in Education from Walden University.

After graduating I married my high school sweetheart, Melissa.  We are blessed with a beautiful daughter, Maya, who will turn two this November. We will also be welcoming a boy to our family in December!

When I’m not at school events, you can find me spending time with my family, hunting or fishing, or rooting on the Kansas Jayhawks and Boston Red Sox.
