  Director's Notes

 

WINTER CONCERT...The band had a great concert! Thanks to all the students for your hard work in preparing and thanks to our audience for coming and sharing the evening with us.

ST. JOHN MUSIC FESTIVAL...We traveled to St. John on Friday, Feb. 18 for the St. John Music Festival. The band received three I+ ratings...the only band to do so. AWESOME JOB! In addition, we had 7 ensembles receive a I or I+ rating, seven soloists receive I or I+ ratings, and one ensemble receive a II+ rating. An incredible day for our students!

DISTRICT HONOR BAND. Congratulations to our students who were selected to perform with the SCKMEA District JH Honor Band. You all did a great job. Students participating were: Bobby on bass clarinet; Cole on bassoon; Henry on trumpet; Cameron on trombone; Jordan on tuba; and Scott on percussion.
