I am currently teaching my 3rd year in the Sterling school district and my 17th in education.  I began my career at Concordia, KS, at the Jr/Sr High School where I taught PE/Health and Psychology/Sociology.  I was Head Girls Basketball coach and remained there five years.  Nickerson High School was my next destination as I spent nine years teaching and coaching for the Panthers. 

I graduated from Sterling College and am very happy to be teaching in the district where my children attend school.  Alley is my oldest and is in the 5th grade, Grace is a 4th grader and my youngest daughter Kate began Kindergarten this year.  My husband Todd works at Alden State Bank.

 Health and physical activity are my main interests and I am passionate about teaching them to kids.  Basketball is my other passion, as I love coaching the Lady Black Bears basketball team.
