Kansas Wind for Schools Program |

| Sterling High School, USD376, is one of five rural schools selected to receive a Skystream 3.7 wind turbine as part of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory's Wind for Schools Initiative. The small, 1.8 kilowatt turbine will become part of the school's Environmental Science curriculum. This is the initial year for the program which is set up to place turbines in five more schools each year for the next two years. |
