The Best Things I Saw This Week at Sterling Junior/Senior High School:
Upper Left: Mrs. Calderwood's Biology class gathered and identified insects over the past two weeks, developing a display to share with their peers. Sophomores Brooklyn and Lacey chose a windshield for their collection. Nice work, ladies.
Lower Left: Adam (Sr) turned this lamp post out of walnut, sanded it, added a base and finished it beautifully with a dark stain.
Lower Right: Seventh-graders Shklar and Alexis, back row on the left, were featured in the Bulletin along with their SGS peers for artwork recognized at the State Fair in Hutchinson.
Upper Right: Black Bear Volleyball had a great evening on Tuesday in the Ora Shields with a pair of 2-0 wins against Berean and Marion. Pictured is Kayla (Jr) with a successful spike off of Sophomore teammate Bennie's set.
