The US Department of Agriculture has approved funding that will allow us to serve all of our remote and in person students free lunch and breakfast each day that school is in session until 12/31/2020, or when funding runs out.
Beginning Tuesday, September 8th student accounts will not be charged for breakfast or lunch
Remote learners will be contacted by Mrs. Skucius for arrangements on picking up their meals at Sterling Grade School. Remote learners may also email Mrs. Skucius with inquiries: skuciuss@usd376.com
Only currently enrolled students are eligible for free meals. Unlike the summer lunch program, this program is not open to all children ages 18 and under in the community.
It is still critically important to fill out a free lunch application if there is a chance that you could qualify. A large portion of the district’s state funding is based on the number of students that qualify for free lunch.
