As we begin our Hybrid Model on Monday, November 30, we've had a number of questions and we expect more as our students and families get knee-deep into this new instructional model. We know that everything we plan will not go perfectly and, in fact, some of it will leave us wondering why in the world we ever thought that would work in the first place. But as we get into this a few days, we'll certainly uncover some aspects we hadn't thought about or perhaps not from the right perspective. So feel free to submit your question to Mr. Bressler (bresslerp@usd376.com) and he will find an answer and post it here within 48 hours.

Question about Lunch:

What are you doing about lunch? There is no way my student can make it to the school and back safely in 25 minutes.

Answer about Lunch;

After discussing this with our food service staff, we've adjusted our procedure. Students attending in person will take lunch count for the current day (hot lunch) and the next day (sack lunch with shelf-stable products, so no refrigeration required). Students are not required to choose both lunches. Students choosing the sack lunch for the following day will pick those up after dumping their tray during the lunch period.

Question about Internet Access:

We don't have reliable internet access, especially to stream video of class. What are our options?

Answer about Internet Access:

If you are unable to acquire reliable internet at your residence, please email Mr. Bressler (bresslerp@usd376.com) and explain your situation. We will find a way to get you in a situation where the lack of access does not interfere with your educational opportunities.
