2021 2-1A State Forensics Champions

This has certainly been an interesting year for competing in debate and forensics. Debate was always virtual but always live. Forensics had a few in-person tournaments (we went to two); several asynchronous tournaments (on tape only), and many, like state that were virtual but live. The kids are to be commended for adjusting to all of this. They have truly been champs considering all that has been thrown at them. Additional thanks goes to help from Adam Moore who technologically got us through the year and was our assistant debate coach; Kim Loya who has served as the assistant forensics coach and worked with many of the younger kids; and, of course, Marilee Kruse who worked with the speakers once I got them started.

This was a wonderful way to finish the year with our 25th Championship forensics trophy,  and these students are very deserving of the medals they brought home.
