Sunflower Summer provides a wide variety of ways for families to get out, explore something new, and enjoy time together. Kansas families can visit museums, zoos, historic landmarks and more for free! Use the app to get free tickets for your preK – 12th grade student and one adult caregiver. Locations will be announced later this summer, but past participants have included the Cosmosphere, Sedgwick County Zoo, Rolling Hills Zoo, and Exploration Place.
The 2026 program runs July 9-Aug. 2. An adult will need to download the Sunflower Summer app (available for iPhone and Android users) and register their family members. Visit the website for all the details.
