Sterling High School FBLA students.

On January 30, the FBLA chapter visited Lil’ Cub Daycare to read books and play with the kids. The trip was organized by Jace Darnauer, Wyatt Newberry, and Porter Anderson as part of their Community Service Project, which also includes building a website for the local daycare. The visit lasted about an hour total. As for the rest of the project, the website will help people learn more about the daycare when deciding whether to send their kids there. It’s simple by design, low-maintenance, so the daycare can focus on what they do best: actually caring for the kids. Once published, the website will be a great resource for Lil’ Cub to digitize and simplify some of their operation. The FBLA group from Darnauer, Newberry, and Anderson will present their project at the State Competition in Topeka, March 29-31.
