The Lady Bears did not let their success at the HOA/CKL League Tournament affect their play at regionals. The ladies picked up right where they left off, qualifying five girls for 3-2-1A State in Topeka and earning the Regional Runner-Up title in Lyons.
Natalie played well, earning second place in singles, while Dannika and Emma L won regionals in doubles, and Emma K and Kate placed second. Natalie competed well at regionals, falling one win away from qualifying.
The 3-2-1A State Tournament begins Friday, October 16th, with player introductions at 9 am and play starting at 9:30 am. Saturday's matches will begin at 9 am. Matches will be held at the Topeka-Kossover Tennis Center, 2501 SW Gage Blvd.
USD 376, and the Sterling community wishes these girls and coaches the best as they work toward their goal of becoming state champions!
