We had a fantastic Scholastic Book Fair at Sterling Grade School this spring thanks to the generosity of parents, staff, and community members. Our total sales topped $6,400, which resulted in nearly $3,700 in free books and learning materials for the library.
We received $112 in donations to the Share the Fair program, which allows us to buy books for the library that everyone can read and enjoy.
In addition, Sterling's PEO organization bought a book for every first grade student. The kids loved choosing their books and were excited to be able to add to their home library. PEO is dedicated to promoting literacy and is a long-time support of our school book fair.
The combined fall/spring Scholastic Dollar benefit in the 2023-24 school year totaled
$6,841.78 for the library. Thanks so much for your support.
