The 2022 Rice County Spelling Bee will be hosted in the Sterling High School auditorium on Saturday, February 26th, at 9 am. There will not be an admission fee for this event.
The Sterling Junior High students participating are Porter A., Bryce S., Sophie F., and Haylie V.
Sterling Grade School will be represented by five of their own. The first is local spelling champion, Karis D. Karis won the SGS competition spelling infrequent and appreciative. The other three students joining her are Nathaniel G., Zachary D., Ryder H., and Haylen C.
