Our apologies for the late notice, but JV baseball scheduled for today in Ellinwood has been postponed to next Monday the 29th.
There are a few dates coming up that we would like to make all aware of. There will be a JH band concert on Thursday the 25th at 7:00. There will be a HS band concert on Monday the 29th at 7:00. The winter play will be at 7:30 on the 25th, 26th and 27th. There will also be a 2:00 performance on the 27th.

At the conclusion of the game, parents or others will be allowed to come down to the rail and take pictures of the team while they are on the floor. Fans are not permitted past the front railing.
For those going to the championship game tonight our fans will again use the northwest gate and sit on the east side. Following the game, fans need to remain in their seats for the trophy and medal presentations. Fans will then exit the stadium and the team will meet family and friends on the west side again.
The link sent out for tickets looks like it will not be active until 9:00 tonight. It will be open until noon tomorrow to buy tickets.
Tickets for tomorrow’s championship are now on sale. The game will be at 6:00. You will use the same process as today’s game to get your tickets. For those going to the game today in Colby, it will be played at the Colby community building. 3BN will not be broadcasting, but there will be a link to the broadcast on the shablackbears.com website. You can also go to openspacessports.com to find the live broadcast.
Boys basketball parents will need to call to get tickets from the office and pick them up this morning for today’s game. We will not have time to get them to the boys and then to you. Girls will get their tickets this morning and bring them home for tomorrow. We will also do a drive through in front of the school at 11 today for the boys.
Vouchers for first round state games will be available starting tomorrow morning. Please call the office to reserve your vouchers. The boys will play at Colby at 6:00 Monday. The girls will play at home on Tuesday at 6. We will be taking a pep bus to Colby that will be leaving at 1:45 on Monday. Students need to email Mr. Laudermilk at laudermilkw@usd376.com to reserve a spot on the bus.
