The Truth About Reptiles as Pets!
-Reptiles don't bite unless hungry or provoked (like any other animal).
-Reptiles are cold blooded, meaning you need a certain type of heating lamp and heating pad to place under their sleeping area.
-Most reptiles are omnivores, but they mostly need meat to survive and prosper. But some reptiles can eat just plants, or need to eat only meat.
-They do need to be “moist,” meaning you need to spray mist on them from time to time because they can dry out.
-Some are spiky, smooth, thin, thick, big, small, really small!

The SHS Scholars' Bowl team took second place at their home meet Tuesday. They defeated teams from Fairfield, Inman, Larned, Lyons, and Nickerson. Their only loss was to Moundridge, the tournament champions. Top scorers were Mason L. with 210 points and Lanae W. with 80 points.
