Today was Reality U at SJSHS. We'll share more later this week, but this crew, 24 volunteers strong, gave their day to build into our kids and our guests from Little River & Inman. Without them, this day doesn't happen! Thanks to all of them, it was a great day! #WeAreSterling
The SGS Library had our most successful fall Scholastic Book Fair to date this past week thanks to the generosity of parents, grandparents, staff and community members. You are the best! We earned almost $3,000 in free books for the library! Thanks so much for your support.

Today is Reality U at SJSHS. Students in grades 8, 10, & 12 will participate in a 90-min budget scenario based on answers about school, desired family situation at age 27, and career choice. Let's just say that life's expensive and they're figuring that out today. #WeAreSterling

Congratulations to Sophomore Chelsie Brown on her 7th place finish at the 3-2-1A State Tennis Tournament in Topeka! She defeated two higher seeded players enroute to her state medal, while her only loss was to the tournament's Runner-Up. Way to go, Chelsie! #WeAreSterling

Tomorrows junior high volleyball tournament will be played at Berean Academy. It was wrong on the schedule and calendar. Our first match will begin at 10:00 am.
State Tennis Update: The Doubles team of Cylie LaTourell & Emily McGaughey won their opening match before falling to 4-seed Collegiate. An 8-1 victory against Chaparral on the back side of the bracket has them one win away from earning a medal. Go Bears! #WeAreSterling
Update from State Tennis: Chelsie Brown is into the Quarterfinals by way of a 6-2, 6-2 opening round victory, followed up by a 7-6, 6-0 win over the tournament's 7-seed from Larned. She will face the #2 seed from Colby next. Go Bears! #WeAreSterling
