Fourteen students earned awards at the HOA League Art Festival last spring on 19 entries, with five of those earning first-place honors. 14 is also the number of days until these students get back into their art classes for the fall semester. #WeAreSterling
Online enrollment for USD 376 is back up and running! If you have already filled out forms, please log back in to check for other forms that may need to be filled out. The junior high and high school enrollment will be Tuesday the 9th from 4-6 pm at the high school offices and the grade school will be on Wednesday the 10th from 2-6 pm at the grade school offices. Fifteen days of hot, sticky summer until students can enjoy air-conditioned comfort in our classrooms for 7 hours & 25 minutes daily. 15 is also the number of division-I ratings our vocalists & instrumentalists earned on solos at State Music Festival last spring. #WeAreSterling
Sixteen days until school begins. 16 also represents the number of Black Bear Events won at the State Track & Field Meet this century, from McCoy's triple-gold weekend in 2000 to Tyus Wilson's 2A State Meet record in 2021. #WeAreSterling

Twenty days until we kick off the 2022-23 school year with all six grades. 20 is also our certified teaching staff FTE. Great teachers across the board with 1 to 41 years of classroom experience. #WeAreSterling
Junior High students will take 21 courses during two years at SJSHS. Core classes are scheduled in the morning, electives right after lunch, then PE/Strength Training and a Wheel of exploratory courses. 21 is also the number of days until classes resume next month. #WeAreSterling
Twenty-two more days until the bell system is up and running again, moving over 200 students to their next class period. 22 is also the number of Division I-Ratings earned by SHS Musicians last spring at the KSHSAA Regional Music Festival. #WeAreSterling

A quarter-century down for these two young educators, which matches the 25 days of summer vacation remaining until classes start on Aug 19. Mrs. Couture is a Haven native & a Sterling College graduate, while Miss Wilson is a Sterling native & a Wichita State grad. #WeAreSterling
Twenty-seven days until classrooms are full at SJSHS, which coincides with the number of HOA Championships won by Black Bears and Bear Cubs over the past school year: 7 team championships and 20 gold medalists. #WeAreSterling
Twenty-eight more days before the routine of school takes over our daily lives. And 28 is the number of wins by the SHS Volleyball team last fall. These ladies lost seldom and to teams that played in the state tournament-a great season. #WeAreSterling
Twenty-nine more days before this bunch of 29 sets out on their final year in at SJSHS and USD 376. A truly fantastic bunch of young people set for a great senior year and, more importantly, prepped for greatness in whatever is next. #WeAreSterling
Thirty days until the snooze alarm isn't a multiple-press option. And 30 is the number of Division I-Ratings earned by Sterling Band and Choir students over the past year. All large groups and the vast majority of solos and ensembles earned I-ratings. #WeAreSterling
Thirty-one more days. 31 is the number of folks who show up every day to support our great teaching staff: cooks, bus drivers, custodians, secretaries, paras, interpreters, trainer, nurse, librarians, counselors, aides, IT, & admin. And we're grateful for them. #WeAreSterling
Thirty-two more days until teachers call the roll for day one of classes at SJSHS. And 32 is the number of classes that students can take during their four-year HS tenure as Black Bears. #WeAreSterling
