Please note the following calendar changes for athletics. JV football scheduled for next Tuesday the 5th in Sedgwick has been canceled. We will instead play a 5th quarter after tonight's varsity game, weather permitting. Varsity tennis scheduled for next Tuesday the 5th in Wellington has been moved to Chaparral. It will still be a 3:00 start.
Yesterday, September 2nd, we were informed that one additional SGS student tested positive for COVID-19. The additional positive at SGS will not change the anticipated return to "Masks Optional" date of September 7th.
For those traveling to Pratt tomorrow for volleyball, masks WILL BE required at the college where our pool play is. They will not be required at Pratt Skyline should we make it to the semifinals.

Due to the projected hot weather this Thursday, the junior high football game in Ellsworth has been moved to a 6:00 start.

Tomorrow night is fall sports preview night and below will be the schedule. Please note that tennis is at 6:00 due to the heat. All events will be held on Sterling Junior/Senior High School campus. Cross country will be announced at the practice football field and then run their mile at the track. The booster club will be on site selling bear wear.

6:00- Junior high football and tennis
6:45- Cross country
7:00- High school football and cheerleading
