Due to the frigid temperatures in the morning, there will be no JH Scholars Bowl practice for Tuesday, Feb 9.
The regular board meeting that was moved to Wednesday has been returned to it's original date and time. The meeting will be tonight, Monday February 8th at 7:00 in the SHS library. There will be no meeting on Wednesday the 10th.
Due to the extremely low forecasted temperatures over the next week, our music department has made the decision to cancel all AM music rehearsals through next Tuesday. We will resume morning practices next Wednesday.
The junior high game for tonight in Berean has been postponed. The games for today have been moved to this Thursday and Thursday’s games will be played Saturday.
There will be no C games this week for high school basketball. Also, Sedgwick is only allowing 2 fans per participant tomorrow night and Hutch Trinity is only allowing 1 fan on Friday.
8th grade vocal ensemble will NOT meet tomorrow morning, Monday, Feb 8.
Due to scheduling conflicts, we are moving the regular BOE meeting scheduled for Monday, February 8th to Wednesday, February 10th at 7:00PM in the SHS Library.
We will allow 4 fans per participant for the remaining high school games played in Sterling. We ask that you still only attend the game of the athlete in which you are watching. Tickets for Friday's game will be given to players on Thursday.
Friday is dress as your favorite team day at Sterling Grade School. Wear your favorite team apparel or feel free to show your support for the Chiefs!

Moundridge will allow 4 people per participant tomorrow at the high school games. There are no tickets, names will be recorded at the gate.
TONIGHT and TOMORROW night, SHS Theater presents The Island of Dr. Libris. Tickets still remain and may be reserved by calling the high school. Admission will be collected at the door & masks are required for all occupants not performing. It's a fantastic show!
The schedule for Monday's junior high games at Berean will be B girls at 4, B boys at 5, A girls/C boys at 6 and A boys/C girls at 7. Berean will allow 4 tickets per participant. Tickets will be sent home with players today.
