Boys' Basketball is returning at approximately 11:30 this morning. If you would like to welcome them back, meet in the SJSHS Commons shortly ahead of the 11:30 arrival time.
KSHSAA has cancelled the remainder of the state basketball tournament. Our Bears finish 20-4, having earned a berth in the semifinals.

For tonight’s boys basketball game at Bramlage, our crowd will be on the east side across from the benches. Our student section will be on the south end of the east side.

Sterling High School will have a pep assembly/send off for the basketball teams on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. The team will drive through the front of the school on the way out of town at 9:00. The community is welcome to attend.
SJSHS Adjusted Class Schedule based on 1:30 dismissal times on Wed/Thu and Friday's originally scheduled 12:30 dismissal.
Sterling Public Schools will dismiss at 1:30 Wed. and Thurs. Sterling boys and girls basketball teams qualified for the 2A State Tournament in Manhattan. Because we play at 4:45 both days we are dismissing school at 1:30 to allow staff and students to attend the games.

Band parents, the pep band will be playing for the sub-state championship games tonight. If your student is able to play, please have them contact Ms. Giles. The bus will leave at 4:45.
Black Bear Boys topped Hutch Trinity last night in the semis and advance. Championship Saturday is here. Girls play Trinity at 6, Boys play Ellinwood afterward. Come to Inman and support your Bears in their quest to qualify for next week's State Tournament! #WeAreSterling
The Rice County Health Department has asked us to share the attached documents about COVID-19. We are prepared with plenty of disinfectant and sanitizer and plans to keep the schools (and our students' hands!) even cleaner than usual.

A great day for Sterling Junior High Music today at St. John. I ratings abounded with nearly all large groups and many of the solos and ensembles. Kudos to Mr. Comley, Miss Giles, Mrs. Anthony, and Mrs. Fair. Thanks to Rick Ludwick and Kim Sant for driving today!
