The USD376 Board of Education meeting scheduled for tonight at 7 pm will be hosted in the SHS auditorium instead of the library. The move is to permit spacing among those that attend.

For the junior high and high school camps that are happening this week, please be aware that we are requesting students to wear face masks. Coaches will use their judgment as to when masks can be pulled down. We will also be checking temperature for all that attend.

This is a reminder that as we approach the start of the school year, please make sure your student athlete has their physical completed. The physical must take place after May 1st for this current school year. Any 7-12 grader playing a sport is required to have one before the start of practice. When you open the locker room door on the Monday after graduation expecting to see the stage and all of the sound equipment from Saturday’s ceremony, and you see this. A huge thanks to our USD 376 Clean Crew: Mike. Chad, Mark, and Tracy for moving it all back! #WeAreSterling


Graduation Seating Update: After taking reservations from our graduate families and accounting for social distancing, Smisor Stadium is "full" for Saturday's graduation. The ceremony will be live streamed on shsblackbears.com.

Graduation Weather Update: We are monitoring the forecast; rain chances on Saturday are dropping,hopeful for a 10:30 start, but we will update here by 9:00 if we need to delay. Rehearsal breakfast is at 8:30 on Friday in the Gleason Lobby followed by walk-through. #WeAreSterling
