SGS students will be attending the HS Pep Assembly on Thursday to cheer on the State bound SHS Boys Basketball Team. The assembly starts at 9:40 and we will return to SGS at 10:00. Weather permitting, students will walk to the high school and leave around 9:20. Kindergarten students will ride the bus. In case of rain we will shuttle all classes to the SHS gym. Plan to wear black or white or any SGS or Black Bear gear and cheer on the Black Bears!
State Basketball Send-off is Thursday morning at 9:40 in the Ora Shields Activity Center. The public is invited to join the SGS and SJSHS student bodies and staffs to celebrate our Bears ahead of their trip to Dodge City and the 2A State Tournament. #GoBears #WeAreSterling
There will be a community pep rally and send off for the boys basketball team on Thursday at 9:40 in Ora Shields. All are welcome. Sterling will play Plainville Thursday night at 6:00 in Dodge City at the United Wireless Arena.

Due to the illness of an accompanist, today's JH Music Festival performance schedule has been adjusted to allow all students to perform. As such, both buses will return to Sterling this afternoon around 5:30. We will share an updated return time upon leaving St. John.
Dental checks were today at Sterling Grade School. Tomorrow, Prairie Star Health Center will be offering additional services. Teeth cleanings, sealants and fluoride treatments will be available. To participate in these additional services, we need a completed consent form to be turned into the office. This is a terrific opportunity to get preventative dental services. Consents are available on the USD 376 website under news or in the office. These should be turned in by Wednesday morning.

Here is the schedule for tonight's BB games. JV girls will start at 4:15 in Ora. C girls will play 1 quarter following that game. Varsity girls will start at 6:00 followed by varsity boys. The JV boys will play in the south gym at 4:30 followed by the C boys. We will have senior recognition between the varsity games.
